The Companion Skybambi Stationery Bag Review and Setup
Prefaced by a brief love letter to my dear city of Chicago, here is a review and setup of the Skybambi Companion stationery bag. Let me know if I can further clarify anything!
Some details I forgot to mention:
1- The bag is entirely constructed with genuine leather. It comes in 2 permanent colors (black and brown) and one limited color (currently red).
2- Acquiring it is a bit of a tricky process. @TerciaSkybambi makes it available occasionally via her retail Instagram account @skybambi_stationery. Follow her for updates.
3- This bag was not gifted to me for review. It was purchased with my own money and reviewed as such.

Due to it being the official language of the church, it is written in Latin. The ...

I love this video. :). I suggest folding the edges of the ribbon under before attaching. Or I would use some fancy duct tape for the binding. I have used this in the past on booklets that I have made by sewing together sheets of paper, than using duct tape to make a clean edge. I've used cardboard and cloth as covers. :).

Chalk is mostly calcium carbonate, and so it would react with any vinegar (acetic acid), and turn into water and CO2, with a bit of calcium left over.

7:57 That little detail of the drawn white gloss lines being _slightly_ imperfect made me skip a breath. It humanized the person from 700 years ago in a way that, despite my best efforts, is usually difficult to accomplish.

That's not the Devil!! Why do people describe the devil as looking like a scary being? I don't know much, but I though in the bible he is described as “ ‘You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty". That says to me, the devil is the epitome of male beauty..

If it was the “Devil’s book” it would not have been kept in Holy temples let alone changing hands tearing hands between several. Almost all other texts deemed demonic and esoteric because they contain ancient secrets the established religions don’t want common knowledge. Secular only means it’s books that the Orthodox banned. This is exactly why why the church is under fire now. Because they have hidden this knowledge. The timeframe you mentioned covers the “Common Era Revolution” which is also a period that the Orthodox Jewish church do not want known. I know why. People with this knowledge would look at WW2 differently because the Orthodox Jewish Church funded the bank that Hitler used to identify and slaughter “Liberal Jews” that were captured in Germany, Poland, and Russia. It was a political, labor and commerce war. The bankers Vs. the working class.

Lovely collection! Fellow pen & ink collector here! I don’t have very many fountain pens, but love the ones I have. Whats great about the Noodlers Ahab, is that you can take it apart, and put the feed with a calligraphy dip nib and stick it back in the pen. It works best with a Brause Rose nib (a personal favorite) and also works with a Brause Steno nib (blue pumpkin). The Noodlers Nib Creaper can be used the same way but with smaller nibs like the Hunt 101 and similar.. its amazing how well the parts all fit together and how well it writes a good cursive hand. I try to emulate the cursive hand used in the 1700s (a great era for cursive).

Great vid! I have this one in my Herbin 1670 collection & it can be a bit tricky. I sometimes dilute it down and some of the better qualities of the ink come out making it a bit easier to use. My favorite from that 1670 line would be the Ocean Bleu ink...such a unique blue...really stands out among all my other blue inks. Some of my recent favorites are Zhivago by Noodlers, Nightshade by Noodlers, & Platinum Classic Sepia Black. Sooo many i really love.

Another excellent video ! Hey if you are a fan of unique Gothic text & script...have a look into the Italian / Gothic script called “Beneventan”. It’s a fun one to play with and looks very handsome when adorned across a lovely piece of paper. Its executed very well with the same variety & size nib you frequently use. Samples of the full script can be found in old text photos online...Beneventan....worth a look!

New to the channel, great video! I myself have a real fondness for brown inks. I saw your bottle of Walnut Drawing Ink and have enjoyed using it many times with my dip pens. I even have a few hybrid pens ive made that combine the continuous feed of a fountain pen with the flex and hairlines of the Brause Rose nib. Your walnut ink & acorn ink making was a success! Very well done...and then to watch you use it in your own hand was magical. My go-to brown ink right now is Platinum Classic Sepia-Black (an iron gall based ink) Noodlers Walnut ink, and my own unique dip pen ink thats a mix of both Walnut Drawing Ink & Black Iron Gall ink.... would love to hear more from you on the topic of beloved inks/pens! -A Friend In NY

Some dates are a little bit off, Latin did not become the "language of the church in the second century" It was more by the fourth century with prominent figures arising in the west. Most influential ones were still in the east writing in Koine Greek. And Uncials began around 4th century as well. But besides that Nice video!

Considering the main thing that makes acorns unpalatable is the tannins, perhaps you could bypass the galls by boiling acorns instead and reducing the liquid down to strength? It would take a lot more acorns, but they're generally much more easily accessible in most areas. Also, rainwater today is nowhere near as clean as rainwater historically would have been. Distilled water is probably closer to an accurate representation of the historical element of the recipe.
